Juvéderm Family Products
Voluma XC is used for deep tissue injections in the mid-face area to lift and re-contour cheeks that are naturally hollow or that have been affected by age-related volume loss.
Enhance your skin with the Allergan VYCROSS® filler technology and hyaluronic acid in Juvéderm Volbella. We offer this injectable to plump the lips and smooth vertical lip lines.
Vollure is one of the newest additions to the Juvéderm family that is specifically formulated to correct moderate to severe lines and wrinkles on the face. Vollure can smooth the nasolabial folds, marionette lines, "crow's feet" in the corner of the eyes, and more for subtle, long-lasting results.
With an ultra-fine syringe, Juvéderm is administered to the chosen area of the face. The number of syringes needed for your treatment will vary, depending on your skin's condition and severity. A topical anesthetic can be applied to the injection sites prior to treatment to make you more comfortable, but typically there is minimal pain since all Juvéderm formulas include lidocaine. Some patients will be able to see some results of Juvéderm injections soon after their treatment, but optimal results will be more evident once the swelling dissipates. Patients have reported a pinching sensation or light pressure upon injection.
After Your Treatment
For the first 24 hours following treatment, you should avoid strenuous activities like exercise, drinking alcohol, and direct sunlight. Protecting your skin for the first couple of days following your treatment is of the utmost importance. You may experience redness, itching, or swelling on or near the injection site but these symptoms are temporary and should subside with 1 – 2 days. Juvéderm's long-lasting formula should enhance your appearance for 9 – 18 months.
