How are Radiesse Injections Performed?
RADIESSE injections are performed in a treatment room at our clean, bright facility and last about 30 – 45 minutes once you have completed the consultation. To begin the treatment, you will be seated comfortably as the injection sites are cleaned and marked. Many patients feel only mild discomfort throughout the injection treatment, but if desired, a numbing cream can be spread on the treatment sites. The dosage of RADIESSE, selected during your consultation, will be prepared in a fine needle. The marked injection site will help the injector administer RADIESSE into the face carefully. The CaHA microspheres act as a support structure to create a naturally lifted appearance while restoring volume and stimulating collagen production. After the procedure, a cold compress may be held to the treated areas to help minimize swelling and bruising.
