What Morpheus8® actually does

Morpheus8® is radiofrequency microneedling. A grid of coated needles enters the skin and releases heat at a chosen depth. The coating limits that heat at the surface, so the injury is a set of columns with untreated skin between them. Collagen remodeling in those columns is the result people are buying: a change in texture, in the look of acne scars, and in mild laxity. It does not add volume the way filler does, it does not relax a muscle the way a wrinkle relaxer does, and it does not remove a fat pocket.

On the face, treatment depths are often in the 1 to 4 mm range. The body applicator is a different tip. InMode describes it reaching up to 7 mm, with a thermal zone beyond the needle, for a larger surface such as the abdomen, the arms, or the skin above the knees. An abdomen is not treated on a facial setting. Depth is chosen for the tissue in the room. It is not copied from a celebrity's interview or from a screenshot of someone else's device screen.
