Hyaluronidase
While the skilled injectors at ZO Skin Centre in Dallas do their best to meet each patient's needs and expectations, we do see some patients who are unhappy with their injections from other Dallas area practices. In these cases, we can offer hyaluronidase injections to help accelerate the breakdown of hyaluronic acid-based injections, like Juvéderm and Restylane. Administering Voluma
As with all of our injectables, a consultation will be required before an injection session can take place. Once it has been determined that Voluma is the right dermal filler for your skin's condition, a treatment plan will be designed to meet your needs with a precise dosage and strength of the medication. Then, we will prepare your face in one of our treatment rooms (which could be your consultation room). Once the treatment area has been cleansed and marked for injections, our exceptional Voluma injectors will administer the medication as explained in the consultation appointment. The good news about Voluma is that it does not take long to see gorgeous results. Before you leave our office, we will invite you to an area to freshen up your face before heading back into your daily routine.
After Your Treatment
After Voluma injections, you should avoid lengthy sun exposure and use UV protection, like sunscreen or a hat. For the first day after your treatment, we recommend avoiding strenuous activities and drinking alcohol to prevent a reaction. Some patients may notice mild to moderate redness, itching, and swelling in and around the injection sites, but this should subside naturally in a few days. Results will vary in each patient, but the results can last up to two years. During the consultation, your injector can help you decide when to schedule touch-up injections.
